I started Playoffs Rundown as a personal project back in March 2022 to practice my data analysis & visualization skills using data from one of my biggest passions being hockey!

The purpose of this project is to represent different regular season statistics of two NHL teams and put them side by side to be able to see how the teams compare to each other.

The combination of teams are selected based on the NHL playoff bracket teams match-ups.

The data that is used in this project is from MoneyPuck.com & NHL.com, the manipulation of the data is done using Python.

The graphic is separated into 7 sections: Goals per Game, Goals Against per Game, Shots per Game, Shots Against per Game, Powerplay Goals, Penalty Kill Goals Against, and Team Leader / Player Stats.

All stats are from the 21-22 regular season, taking into account each team's 82 games. For the Team Leaders section, only players who played over half of the season were considered during the calculations.
